Double exposure photography refers to merging multiple images. The goal is to make them surreal, emotional, or humorous. It can be achieved by:
- Using the tilt-shift effect
- Create fake reflection
- Experiment with simple portraits and details textured
- Convert the results to black and white
- Work with silhouette
- Pick 2 random photos
- Make simple objects look fascinating
- Use shadow

TASK
In this task, there are 2 exercises for double exposure. The first one is creating a double exposure from the images given in the google drive. I downloaded the images and started following the tutorial given in google classroom. First, I selected the person in the image and using the overlay, I fixed a couple of spots that were not detected. I edited a couple parts of the picture and make adjustments like the video tutorial. Then I imported the forest image and clipped in on the base layer (the person). After that, I added the rest of the details (clouds, birds, etc). When making it, I realized that the gradient map colour on the video was not available on my photoshop, so I decided to use a different gradient map colour. Here is the result for the first exercise.

For the second exercise, we were told to make a double exposure image using our own photo. Here is the photo that I used.

First I removed the background on Photoshop and followed the previous steps. I also added a new picture for the double exposure, which is a waterfall. Then, I edited the image so it looks like the previous work. Here is the result.

REFLECTION
Even though I have seen a lot of double exposure works, I have never made one myself. I must say, that this task was very challenging and the tutorial video given was too fast, so I was confused at first. But I managed to make the double exposure pretty well for a first timer. Even though I managed to make my own double exposure using my own photo, I still need to improve on this task because I'm not to proud of the results. I will need to learn more about the tools used for double exposure.
