- Repetition : repetition unifies and strengthens a design
- Proportion : visual size and weight of elements in a composition and how the relate to each other
- Movement : controlling the elements in a composition so that the eye is led to move from one to the next and the information in properly communicated

TASK
For this task, we were asked to make a conceptual photo manipulation. Conceptual photo manipulation is basically combining 2 photos of object into 1 photo or 1 new object. First I started by looking up references on different platforms. I found some good references on Instagram. Here is the mood board.

After looking up the references, I came up with 3 ideas for this project
Oreo + watch : I want to create a cookie watch because the colours are similar and I thought the idea will be pretty cute
Fork + Paintbrush : I want to create a 2 sided thing that is inspired by dual sided makeup brush that I found
Hairbrush + Hairdryer: I want to create something similar to the second idea but with a different purpose and different items.

FEEDBACK
Change the idea for the last sketch into a hairdryer and a hairbrush
REFLECTION
The first part of this task was still pretty easy because we only needed to look up references and make the rough sketches only. Though, deciding on what to make was pretty difficult because I don't have much stuff that I can combine, I still managed to come up with some ideas.
