TASK
First, I chose the pictures that I want to use and remove the background.
Fig 1.1.1 Remove Background

After removing the background, I compiled the files into one 1080px x 1920px file for the poster and reposition the pictures, also duplicate the hand as well.

Then I added and adjusted the text "EAT IT UP!" using the text tool and ellipse tool to make the text round. The font I used is ROG Fonts Regular. The I adjusted in so it fits the plate.

After finishing the main elements of the poster, I made some more adjustments, such as the brightness, hue and saturation, etc to get the desired colours for the poster. Then I decided to remove the hand on the top because it looks out of place.

Here is the finished poster for this task.

Then I asked some feedback/suggestions from Mr Fauzi about the poster. He said that the composition is good, but can do some final touch up such as colour correction using the adjustment layer to make the light more balanced. So I did just as he told and here is the final result.

Title : Eat It Up!
Explanation : I decided to make a colourful poster that shows 2 of my favourite foods when I am feeling down. The words “eat it up” is inspired by a Le Sserafim song called Spaghetti. Through this poster, I want to explain that you can just do the things that brings you comfort, such as in this poster, spaghetti and noodles are the few comfort foods that I love.

REFLECTION
Overall, this part of the task isn't as difficult as I thought it would be and I am quite satisfied by the final outcome considering this is my first time making a poster with such themes. I ended up having to fix the lighting for the pictures but it turned out great. Though I am satisfied, I do hope that I can improve and make better posters in the future.
