TASK
Week 1
For the first week, we were given a few tasks to do. The first task was done in class, where we were shown how to edit or compile videos using premiere pro. Here is the link to the short videos that we were asked to edit LINK. We were given a tutorial in class on how to edit the video so we can get a heads up on premier pro.

Here is the final video  after following the tutorial. video link

Then we were asked to do the same for another drive link but for this one we were told to figure out the order by ourselves. Here is the video file LINK. I repeated the same steps as before to compile the videos and here is the final video. video link

We were also tasked to watch Zach King's videos and a movie called "Everything Everywhere All At Once". We were told to choose 3 of our favourite Zach King videos and state the reasoning.

Zach King Videos :
I liked this video because of the invisible (shadow person) effects. How smooth the transition was from Zach's shadow to being an actual shadow person (or invisible person). The smooth visual effects really played a huge role into making a smooth video like this.
This video kind of reminds me of a trend that people used to do, but his video uses a 3d effect for the text which made it more realistic. The sound effects also made this video better, with the crumbling sound when the text shattered. Also the effects when Zach fell off the set was also very smooth.
Though this video effects is simpler than his other videos, I still quite like the smooth transitions. The way he uses the towel to make a person appear was very smooth. Same goes to how smooth the effects were when Zach disappeared using the bucket.

Everything Everywhere All At Once :
Fig 1.1.2 Movie Poster (25/04/2026) Week 1

The movie was quite something, it was pretty confusing and hard to understand at first because the pov's and universes kept changing. Though the moral was actually pretty wholesome. The transitions from one universe to another was pretty satisfying and the way the character's personality change depending on the universe makes it easier to understand who is in who's body at the moment. The camera angles also played a role in capturing the feel of certain scenes (such as the fight scene). I liked the final scene where Evelyn was moving from one universe to her current universe to help save herself and her daughter. The constant transition from one scene to the other was not messy and quite eye-catching. Overall, the movie is quite nice, though not really my cup of tea and can be a but confusing, it is still a nice movie to watch.

Week 2
For this week, we were asked to form a group of 3. I teamed up with Erynn and Jonas for this exercise and the theme for the video is stalker/stalking. We decided the roles first before started shooting, Erynn and Jonas are the actors and I'm the cameraman. We decided to make a story where Erynn is stalking Jonas and decided to end the video with a cliffhanger ending to it. We recorded using Erynn's phone and she sent the footage to us since this task we were told to edit individually.

Then I went to premier pro and started cutting the unnecessary parts of the footages, such as the beginning and the ends. Then, I arranged the footage according to the story.

Then, I added the text into the video explaining what shots or angles are used in the recording. I also decided to add some background music to the video. After finishing, I exported the file and upload it to youtube and google drive. Here is the finished video.
